This position contributes to the success of the team by monitoring and coordinating project deadlines, reporting on clinical and financial activity, and performing administrative duties for clinical staff.
About the Role:
As the Administrative Team Leader, key responsibilities include:
- Supervising administrative staff, including rostering, coordinating workflow, delegating duties, and providing feedback on work quantity and quality.
- Leading administrative staff, including conducting regular performance reviews.
- Recruiting, inducting, and training new staff, ensuring existing staff maintain and improve their skills, including patient information applications such as EPAS and HealthTrack.
- Ensuring adequate and efficient levels of clerical staff in the department by participating in the recruitment and selection process.
- Organizing staff meetings, including preparing agendas.
- Exercising initiative, autonomy, and judgment to coordinate daily activities and set priorities to ensure duties meet and achieve agreed objectives.
About You:
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative, judgment, and be flexible.
- Experience with hospital-based computer information systems, such as EPAS, OACIS, and HealthTrack.
- Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Proven experience in intermediate to advanced computing skills, especially with practice management applications.
