**About Our Restaurant**

We are a fine modern Japanese restaurant in Sydney that serves fresh sashimi, sushi, and other Japanese delicacies.

Our chefs use only the finest ingredients to create dishes that are both delicious and visually stunning.

**Your Role**:

You will oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service while maintaining high standards.

You will greet and look after customers with a smile and genuine warmth to improve customer satisfaction.

You will take orders and manage them accurately by communicating with kitchen staff to ensure a seamless dining experience. You will also manage reservations, seating arrangements and special occasions to optimise the customers' dining experience.

You will lead our team including support and motivate our experienced front-of-house staff. You will monitor inventory levels.

**Key Skills and Qualifications**:

We are looking for someone with experience in managing a restaurant preferably in the dining or Japanese cuisine.

You should have excellent communication skills for both staff and customers.

You should be fluent in English and possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a diverse team.

You should have well-organised and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for details and knowledge of Japanese cuisine, types of fish, wine and Japanese sake.
