Job Title:

About the Role:

  • This role is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Senior Mining Engineer to lead our operations.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in developing medium to long term mine designs and schedules, as well as monitoring and reporting on production performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to maximise operational productivity and utilisation of equipment in schedules.
  • Prepare and communicate site physicals for annual forecast processes.
  • Provide detailed rolling medium term forecasts and budgets for the operation.
  • Communicate effectively with technical services, CHPP, maintenance and mine operations personnel in relation to deliverables for mid/long term schedules which would include; physical quantities, resource and utilisation requirements to deliver schedules and long term mine plans.

About You:

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, ideally within the resources sector.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Mining Engineer is essential, along with significant site experience in mine scheduling and design, rehabilitation design, haulage modelling, etc.
