We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Australia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients, assessing their needs, and developing treatment plans.
- Triage and assess patient needs via telephone, referring them to specialist services as required.
- Work autonomously, taking responsibility for patient assessment, treatment planning, and referrals.
- Maintain professional conduct, adhering to national guidelines and best practices.
- Conduct comprehensive patient histories, physical examinations, and use clinical judgment to identify potential diagnoses.
- Order investigations and refer patients to specialists as necessary.
- Prescribe medications and treatments independently.
- Make onward referrals to other services, ensuring continuity of care.
- Collaborate with local and wider healthcare teams, providing leadership and guidance when needed.
