About the Role

AFL Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Family Law Specialist to join our client's team. As a key member of the firm, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and representation in family law matters, including divorce, separation, children's matters, property settlements, and financial agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and representation in family law matters, including divorce, separation, children's matters, property settlements, and financial agreements.
  • Take ownership of cases and clients, working closely with the Principal to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support throughout the legal process.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest family law legislation, court practices, and procedures, ensuring the highest level of expertise and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve the firm's goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years post-admission experience in family law, including property and children's matters.
  • Strong technical knowledge of family law legislation and court practices/procedures in the Family/Children's/Federal Circuit courts.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • Highly adaptable, client-centric, deadline-driven, proactive, and results-focused.
  • Outstanding communication and people skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional results.
