About the Role:

AFL Recruitment is seeking an experienced Family Law Specialist to join our client's team. As a key member of the firm, you will be responsible for taking full ownership of your own cases and clients, providing expert advice and representation in family law matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and representation in family law matters, including divorce, separation, children's matters, property settlements, and financial agreements.
  • Take full ownership of your own cases and clients, managing their matters from start to finish.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Work closely with the Principal and other team members to achieve business objectives and goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in family law, ensuring that your knowledge and skills are current and relevant.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years post-admission experience in family law, including property and children's matters.
  • Strong technical knowledge of family law legislation and court practice/procedures in the Family/Children's/Federal Circuit courts.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • Highly adaptable, client-centric, deadline-driven, proactive, and results-focused.
  • Outstanding communication and people skills, with a passion for family law.
