About This Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and driven Chief Marketing Strategist to lead our marketing efforts at Pier One Sydney Harbour. Located in the heart of Sydney, this stunning hotel is part of the Autograph Collection in Marriott International's Premium portfolio.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to achieve revenue and brand objectives. They will manage the planning, execution, and coordination of all marketing campaigns and projects across the hotel, restaurant, bar, and MICE businesses.

This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Field Marketing and Marriott Digital teams. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and a proven track record in marketing leadership roles.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive revenue and brand growth
  • Manage the planning, execution, and coordination of all marketing campaigns and projects
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve marketing objectives
  • Lead and motivate a team of marketers to deliver high-quality results
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing
  • Analyse market information to inform marketing decisions
  • Manage external vendors and agencies to identify strategic opportunities
  • Provide marketing leadership and act as a subject matter expert for the General Manager and Executive Committee
