Solar Plant Operations Manager

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced solar plant operations manager to lead our team of technicians and contractors.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of utility scale Solar or renewable projects, SCADA systems, and advanced computer literacy.

Key responsibilities include promoting and leading a strong WHSEQ culture on site, ensuring full compliance with site-specific and company-wide WHSEQ requirements, and supervising and monitoring WHSEQ performance of internal teams and subcontractors.

This is a hands-on leadership position that requires strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and leadership capability. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent organisational and time management skills.

A key requirement for this role is experience in diagnosing, repairing, and testing mechanical and electrical faults in solar systems, as well as performing maintenance and corrective electromechanical work across key solar plant equipment.

The ideal candidate will also have excellent planning and management skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with external stakeholders, including owners, clients, and regulatory bodies.
