At PCR Talent, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Portfolio Manager to join our team.

This is a dynamic role that involves managing a comprehensive portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and large groups, handling complex financial issues such as business restructuring, tax consolidations, budgeting, and acquisitions.

As a Financial Portfolio Manager, you will balance a mix of compliance and consulting activities, ensuring excellence in service delivery and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include providing strategic advice on optimizing business structures for operational efficiency and tax effectiveness, assisting clients with the complexities of tax consolidations to ensure compliance and maximize tax benefits, and developing detailed budgets and cash flow projections to support clients' financial planning.

You will also lead and mentor a team of five accountants, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment, and engage with Partners to outline a clear path to Senior Manager, identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and client service delivery.

This is a permanent full-time position that requires Australian citizenship or residency.

Key Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of tax regulations, particularly in FBT and GST
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for business valuations, budgeting, and cash flow management
  • Proven experience in providing strategic tax and business advice to high-net-worth individuals and large corporate clients
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities, excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
