
Asset Manager

Maintain properties and assets for vulnerable children & youth in a safe and efficient manner.
This is a crucial role for maintaining all assigned properties and assets to a high standard in a safe, efficient, and routine manner.
- Oversee repairs and maintenance for all assigned properties, including coordinating schedules and reviewing service agreements with contractors.
- Ensure all relevant documentation is completed for Residential Tenancy Authority and other legislative guidelines, in collaboration with the Leasing Officer.
- Verify contractor compliance (licences, insurance, checks).
- Source, order, and arrange the purchase, repair, or replacement of assets.
- Track asset movements and maintain accurate asset registers.
- Source new properties suitable for supported accommodation, investigate industry trends, and partner with suppliers, contractors, and internal units for growth opportunities.
- Keep records up-to-date and aligned with reporting requirements and organisational policies.
About You
A combination of relevant experience, education, and training in a similar position for at least 2 years (preferable).
Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating professional assertiveness and excellent customer service.
Exceptional multi-tasking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent attention to detail, time management, organisational, and administrative skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and web-based applications.
Able to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
Holding:
- Working with Children Suitability Blue Card.
- Licensed Care Services approval (LCS2).
- NDIS Worker Screening.
- Current unencumbered Class C Driver's Licence.
