Customer Service Excellence Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a Customer Service Excellence Manager to play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and supporting our community.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to the customer service team, fostering a culture of teamwork and cooperation.
- Act as a referral point for escalated enquiries, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and professionally.
- Deliver accurate and timely information to customers and staff about council services.
- Oversee cashiering functions and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Support the implementation of new initiatives and continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, community members, and government departments.
About You
- You are customer-focused, approachable, and confident in leading by example.
- You will also bring experience in delivering high-quality customer service and supporting small teams.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency in multiple IT systems, with confidence in CRM management tools.
- Experience in cash handling and accurate data entry.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to build positive relationships across teams and the community.
