Job Description

As a leader in digital risk and data enablement, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization.

This position requires strong leadership skills to oversee the governance and risk management practices for our data, digital, and cyber risk capabilities. The successful candidate will have expertise in data governance, risk management, or compliance within financial services.

  • Establish and lead our enterprise data governance roadmap and data ethics principles.
  • Refresh, design, and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and controls to ensure high data quality, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
  • Define and oversee data stewardship roles, accountability models, and data literacy initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technology teams to align data protection requirements with strategic planning.
  • Monitor and report on data governance compliance and performance metrics to senior leadership.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 7+ years' experience in data governance, risk management, or compliance within financial services.
  • Demonstrated expertise in regulatory frameworks (e.g., CPG235), data protection, and cybersecurity standards.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, risk frameworks, cloud technologies, and controls assurance practices.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
