Role Overview
We are excited to present an opportunity for a Manager or Senior Manager to become part of our Private Business and Family Advisory Division. In this role, you will work closely with our PBFA Partners, Directors, fellow Managers, Accountants, and support personnel across the division to deliver a comprehensive suite of taxation, financial, and business advisory services.
The Manager or Senior Manager will be responsible for providing high-quality, timely, and precise outcomes to support our clients' businesses. Additionally, you will play a key role in mentoring and guiding your team.
This position encompasses a blend of compliance and advisory tasks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting detailed analyses of intricate advisory projects.
- Offering practical and commercially viable solutions to our clients.
- Managing a portfolio of compliance clients.
- Fostering and nurturing relationships with clients and team members.
- Coaching and mentoring junior staff.
- Identifying and contributing to business development opportunities.
Candidate Profile
To be considered for this position, you should possess:
- Strong technical knowledge in Australian taxation and a willingness to pursue further tax specialization.
- The analytical rigor necessary for handling complex advisory projects.
- An understanding of the importance of delivering practical and commercially sound solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven leadership abilities to mentor and guide junior team members.
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification.
- CA/CPA accreditation.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in Australian public practice.
- Experience in managing, reviewing, and mentoring staff.
