About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Services Accountant to join our team at PCR Talent. As a key member of our accounting practice, you will play a vital role in providing tax and business advisory services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of management reports, financial statements, tax returns, and activity statements for various entity types
  • Assist partners with tax and business advisory services, including financial planning and analysis
  • Collaborate with clients to achieve their business and financial goals, working closely with professionals across our divisions
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, such as the ATO and ASIC, as required
  • Develop and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success
Requirements
  • 5-6 years of experience in tax and business services within an accounting practice
  • Exposure to a broad range of tax and accounting matters across small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to delegate tasks and manage time efficiently, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and precision
  • Experience with accounting software, including XERO and MYOB
