
Aboriginal Community Support Specialist

This placement requires you to live and work within a remote Aboriginal community. You will play a vital role in supporting public housing tenants by providing tenancy advice, case management and education.
- Conduct home assessments and develop care plans tailored to families
- Support clients with rental deductions, arrears management and property maintenance reporting
- Build strong relationships with residents, community members and stakeholders
- Contribute to service improvement initiatives and program development
- Monitor and report on case progress against program KPIs to ensure the highest level of service is maintained.
This role requires someone who can balance professional case management with cultural sensitivity and hands-on support.
About Your Skills and QualificationsWe are seeking a candidate with:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and willingness to work closely with Aboriginal communities
- Ability to manage multiple systems and maintain accurate records
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Current C or C-A class driver's licence
- Competence with Microsoft Office Suite and Apple products
