Job Description

As a civilian role within the Australian Public Service (APS) workforce, this position will involve providing psychological support to Defence members, conducting organisational assessments, and delivering mental health training.

The role is part of a broader psychology team of professionals, working closely with other health professionals and command teams to strengthen the Navy workforce through best-practice resilience and mental health programs.

Navy Psychology is organisational and operational in nature, contributing directly to Navy's capability and national security.

  • Brief psychological intervention

About Our Team

The Navy Psychology West team provides comprehensive psychology services to Navy Fleet Units and the Garrison Shore Establishment, at HMAS Stirling (Garden Island in Rockingham WA).

The team works together to achieve high standards of psychology service provision, liaising regularly with command elements, health providers, and wellbeing stakeholders.
