Job Overview

As a Career Advancement Specialist, you will help individuals achieve fulfilling employment outcomes.

This role involves supporting and guiding clients through their employment journey, using your skills to build rapport and provide personalized assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders as part of managing the referral and intake process for job seekers into their chosen program
  • Assessment of job seeker skills, abilities, identification of barriers and intervention strategies
  • Developing and maintaining work preparation strategies, job seeking strategies, tailored interventions (including other service providers) and employment support activities
  • Providing pre-employment assistance through vocational counseling, training, job search skills, and work trials/work experience to increase capacity for employment

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong communication skills, attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, ability to use computer systems, excellent data accuracy and note taking, building rapport, growing and maintaining relationships with clients, peers, and jobseekers, achieving KPIs, holding a current NDIS Worker Screening check or being willing to obtain one.
