Fleet Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a fleet of vehicles and mobile equipment across multiple states.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling accidents, breakdowns, and insurance claims for all vehicles.
  • Monitoring fleet allocation across states.
  • Negotiating leasing contracts.
  • Invoicing leases, fuel usage, tolls, and purchase orders.
  • Providing drivers with safety materials and strategizing on safety and accident reduction protocols.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, with understanding of fleet management, regulations and maintenance.
  • Strong computer literacy, including intermediate Excel.
  • Background involving continuous improvement initiatives, negotiating, and influencing and working with stakeholders.
