Responsibilities:
  • Undertaking and leading hydrology, flood modeling and dam safety projects
  • Completing office-based hydrological, flood modeling and consequence assessments using various software packages
  • Preparing risk assessments and method statements
  • Data collation and analysis
  • Providing specialist hydrological, flood modeling and dam safety support to other technical disciplines

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering with a focus on Hydrology or related field
  • Ability to author technical reports on field activities and their impact
  • Coaching and mentoring skills to develop team members
  • Confident communication skills for leading meetings with clients and liaising with them
  • Relationship building skills to contribute to business development and collaborate with the wider water resource practice
  • Presentation skills to share information with stakeholders in meetings
  • Complex assessment and report authoring skills
