About this Role

We are seeking an Information Security Officer to join our team. This role will support the smooth running of our security and IT operations, ensuring that our internal systems are secure and our external posture is strong.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the ongoing operation of our information security management system, including work related to ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
  • Administer IT systems, including access provisioning and deprovisioning, device management, and user support.
  • Draft and maintain responses to customer security questionnaires and due diligence requests.
  • Spearhead projects that improve how we manage devices, users, and data.
  • Contribute to technical tasks, such as reviewing cloud and application configurations, investigating security issues, or applying your background in areas like penetration testing, incident response, or digital forensics.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to transition into a security role from an IT background, or for those who already have experience in cybersecurity but are looking to shift into risk, governance, and compliance.

What We're Looking For

We want someone with a strong sense of ownership and a genuine passion for information technology and cybersecurity. You'll need to be comfortable working independently, motivated to grow, and able to communicate effectively with others.

You'll also bring a foundation of relevant knowledge and skills, including familiarity with information security management systems, cloud, network, and application fundamentals, IT systems and device management, and technical writing and communication.

A university degree in IT or cybersecurity is valued, but not essential. Certifications from industry-recognised bodies are highly regarded.
