Cybersecurity Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to leverage their expertise in Cisco security solutions to protect our organization's assets.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco Web Security Appliance (WSA), Cisco Umbrella, and Cisco Email Security Appliance (ESA). They will also be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting these solutions.

In addition, the ideal candidate will have strong understanding of network protocols, proxy configurations, DNS-layer security, and mail filtering. Experience with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) frameworks, especially using Microsoft GSA or similar solutions, is also essential.

They will work closely with IT, DevOps, and compliance teams to ensure security best practices across the organization. The successful candidate will be able to identify and respond to threats, conduct vulnerability scanning, assessment, and remediation coordination, and participate in security incident response and forensic analysis as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience with Cisco WSA, Umbrella, and ESA
  • Experience with Cisco FMC and Cisco ISE configuration and troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, proxy configurations, DNS-layer security, and mail filtering
  • Familiarity with ZTNA frameworks, especially using Microsoft GSA or similar solutions
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow Security Operations, or ITSM processes in a security context
  • Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, or similar
  • Solid grasp of firewall, endpoint protection, identity management, and SIEM systems
