About This Opportunity

As a Nuclear Medicine Scientist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care through the safe and effective performance of nuclear medicine procedures and therapeutic treatments. You will be responsible for dose preparation, administration, and post-treatment monitoring in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional patient care by performing complex nuclear medicine procedures and therapeutic treatments.
  • Support and contribute to clinical trials and research initiatives, driving service improvement and professional development.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare professionals, academics, and other key stakeholders to ensure coordinated and collaborative service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, including accurate documentation, confidentiality of patient records, and participation in hospital-wide systems for resource and patient flow management.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized degree in Medical Radiation Science (Nuclear Medicine) or equivalent registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with AHPRA and a current NSW EPA radiation licence.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, contributing to positive patient outcomes and organisational goals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of navigating complex clinical and research environments.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development, with active engagement in education, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
