The Queensland Police Service is seeking a highly skilled and experienced legal professional to provide prosecution services in the Townsville Magistrates Court District.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality prosecution services for police-related matters in the district.
- Represent the Queensland Police Service in court proceedings and related policing functions.
- Offer legal advice on court processes and procedures.
- Ensure the quality of briefs of evidence.
- Liaise with stakeholders to establish effective working relationships and achieve desired policing outcomes.
Admission as or entitlement to practice as a legal practitioner in Queensland.
This role requires a strong understanding of the Queensland justice system, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on complex legal matters, managing cases from commencement to conclusion, and maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
