Job Title: Commercial Venue Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Venue Operations Manager to lead our dynamic internal sales and operations teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for growing and optimising revenue through consumer, trade and business venue hire via the delivery of market-leading visitor experiences at our portfolio of venues.

This role requires strong leadership and people management skills, as well as extensive event sales and operations knowledge and experience with large-scale complex venues with commercial imperatives.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated high-level conceptual and analytical decision-making skills, including significant experience in negotiating and managing high-value contracts with key partners, stakeholders, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the internal sales and operations teams to grow and optimise revenue
  • Develop and implement strategies to deliver market-leading visitor experiences
  • Negotiate and manage high-value contracts with key partners, stakeholders, and suppliers
  • Provide strategic guidance on commercial partnerships and stakeholder engagement

Requirements:

  • Significant senior-level management experience in the operation of commercial businesses or venues
  • Extensive event sales and operations knowledge and experience with large-scale complex venues
  • Demonstrated high-level conceptual and analytical decision-making skills
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Benefits:

This is a Full-time, Ongoing position with a competitive salary package including 11% superannuation.
