We are seeking a seasoned Senior Construction Risk Engineer to join our team in the Asia Pacific region.

About the Role
  • Our ideal candidate will provide expert engineering advice to underwriters regarding technical risks associated with industrial construction projects.
  • They will be responsible for conducting desktop reviews of large and complex industrial construction projects worldwide.
  • Collaboration with regional engineers to conduct peer reviews is also an essential part of this role.
  • The successful candidate will conduct on-site visits to monitor progress and gather pertinent risk information.
  • Additionally, they will review site visit reports from other regional engineers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Evaluation of significant losses in construction projects within our portfolio in APAC will also be a key responsibility.
  • Support and training for other risk engineers and senior underwriters will be provided.
Requirements
  • A qualified engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering is required.
  • Minimum ten years of hands-on experience as a site manager in the construction of heavy industries is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills are necessary for effective interactions with clients, brokers, and stakeholders.
