Our organisation is seeking a dedicated Care Worker to provide home help services to our aged care clients. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with daily living tasks, including general housekeeping, meal preparation and personal care.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting clients with daily living tasks, including general housekeeping and personal care

  • Providing transport to lifestyle activities or appointments

  • Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things

  • Assisting with mobility and therapy goals

  • Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia

  • Providing social and emotional support

">Requirements

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing an excellent service and can build positive relationships with clients and their families. The successful applicant will need to have at least 3 months experience in a similar professional role, with experience in personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications.

  • Essential Requirements:

  • A valid Australian Driver's Licence and own insured, roadworthy vehicle

  • Experience of 3 months or more in a similar professional role, with experience in personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications
