The Role:

Seeking applications for Canteen Assistant at small community-minded P-12 school.

  • Casual Position with potential for Part-Time
  • up to 5 days per week during school term, flexible working hours during term break (as needed)

Selection Criteria:

  • Current Paid Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • Previous experience in a similar role highly desirable (e.g. canteen, hospitality, food service)
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (Food Handling/Safety Certificate ideal)
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and parents
  • Experience with My School Connect or other similar school canteen systems advantageous
