Job Title: Paralegal Support Professional

The role of Paralegal Support Professional involves providing high-quality administrative support to the legal team. This includes drafting, typing, editing, formatting and proofreading letters, memos, briefs and court documents.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing a range of administrative services to support the efficient delivery of legal services.
  • Converting documents in line with firm style guides, including formatting and cross referencing.
  • Compiling and formatting large documents and tracking changes.
  • Preparing and collating briefs for Counsel.
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations and updating the database.
  • Maintaining monthly client billing and client reporting.
  • Diary management and scheduling of meetings and teleconferences.
  • Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders by phone using a professional and personable manner.

Requirements:

Experience in a paralegal or administrative support role is highly desirable. A Certificate in Legal Studies or equivalent qualification is also desired but not essential.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven decision making and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
