Project Overview

This role will be instrumental in advancing our understanding, refining our processes, and delivering results over the next 3 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute project strategies with high autonomy, reporting directly to our leadership team.
  • Analyze and adapt processes to meet the unique requirements of each native plant species.
  • Design and implement procedures for priming, treating, and quality control of seeds.
  • Provide regular project updates and insights.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management, team leadership, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A deep understanding of the scientific method and ability to interpret scientific literature.
  • Ability to relocate to Cairns, Queensland, Australia.
Preferred Experience
  • Native Australian botany knowledge is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with seed and seed treatment technologies.
  • Experience working in startups or fast-paced environments.
  • Making a significant impact on the future of agriculture and synthetic biology.
