Contract Administration Opportunity

Are you seeking a challenging role as a Contract Administrator in the construction industry? We have an exciting opportunity to join a national company on various projects across new build, refurbishment, and defence sectors.


Responsibilities
  • Manage contractual documentation and correspondence efficiently.
  • Negotiate and finalise contract agreements effectively.
  • Prepare and issue project variations and progress claims accurately.
  • Coordinate subcontractor agreements and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Track project budgets, costs, and timelines to meet deadlines.
  • Liaise with stakeholders including clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Assist with project procurement and supplier management.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Contracts Administrator in the construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of government/defence project requirements, contract law, construction methodologies, and industry practices.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction, project management, or a related field will be highly regarded.
