Freight Forwarding Professional

Join our company as a Supply Chain / Freight Forwarding professional in Sydney's North West. A Post Graduate position suitable for a graduate looking to enter the freight forwarding industry.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Job registration and documentation processing, including pre-alerts and arrival notices.
  • Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processing, including payments via cheque and company transfer.
  • Maintaining cargo status and availability.
  • Arranging cartage services.
  • Liaising with shipping lines, co-loaders, depots, airlines, overseas agents, suppliers, and internal staff to ensure efficient shipment movement.
Requirements for Success
  • Prior understanding of international freight is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products.
  • Accurate data entry skills.
  • A genuine desire to develop a career in Freight Forwarding.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A confident and friendly manner.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
