Disability Employment Specialist

Empowering People with Disabilities to Thrive in the Workplace
As a Disability Employment Consultant at APM, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities become work-ready and secure sustainable employment. Our team delivers Employment Services Programs from over 400 sites nationally, and you will be based at our Bundaberg site.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Source employment opportunities for job seekers
- Help job seekers identify their skills and abilities to secure employment
- Deliver exceptional customer service to job seekers and employers
- Increase job seekers' capacity for employment through training and support services
- Create and implement joint job plans with job seekers to support a clear pathway to employment
- Build relationships with local employers and community organizations
Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
- Willingness to complete a Criminal History Check
- Able to pass a Working with Children Check
- Able to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
