Livestock Branch Support Specialist

This role is responsible for providing administrative support to the livestock branch, including performing tasks such as accounts payable and receivable, processing sales, maintaining safety processes, and supporting internal operations.

About the Role
  • Performing key administrative tasks including managing financials, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Supporting customers with pricing and product queries
  • Processing counter sales and cash handling
  • Maintaining safety and quality control procedures
  • Providing general administrative support to the branch, including real estate and merchandise divisions

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a team support position and a passion for agriculture. You will demonstrate:

  • A proactive approach to work and effective organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Knowledge or experience with cattle is advantageous but not essential
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers
  • Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
  • Ability to identify ways to improve operational efficiency
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new systems quickly
