You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and experienced team to design and implement compliance response plans, create and implement policies, and provide legal advice on a range of projects, including product development and strategic partnership initiatives. Your expertise will be essential in navigating the complex regulatory environment and ensuring Virgin Australia remains at the forefront of compliance excellence.



Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement compliance frameworks, including driving program objectives, milestones, metrics, and reporting.
  • Provide legal advice on regulatory and legislative reform processes, including law reforms impacting the aviation industry and engagement with key regulators.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop and deliver training and mentoring programs on compliance with Virgin Australia's ethics and compliance program, Code of Conduct, and other related policies/procedures.
  • Assist the Head of Ethics & Compliance to meet reporting obligations for the Executive Leadership Team and the Virgin Australia Group Boards.
