Job Title: Senior Estimator

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced civil estimator to join our team. As part of this role, you'll be responsible for preparing comprehensive estimates for diverse civil infrastructure projects.

About the Job
  • Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and scopes of work to develop accurate civil estimates.
  • Prepare and send out supplier and subcontract packages, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive quotes.
  • Collaborate with the tender and construction team to develop effective construction methodologies, programs, and risk management strategies.
  • Prepare high-quality tender submission documents using strong writing skills.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or trade qualifications.
  • Over 10 years' experience in the civil construction industry, with field experience desirable.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools, ideally 'Expert' software and MS Excel.
  • Proficiency in project planning and MS Project program.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate first principles estimates and submission documents within strict deadlines.

The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
