Job Title: Cybersecurity Solutions Architect

Overview:

A leading organisation seeks a skilled cybersecurity professional to design and implement network security infrastructures protecting sensitive data and systems.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network security solutions to safeguard organisational assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy network security solutions using Palo Alto firewalls and related technologies.
  • Configure and manage security policies, VPNs, and threat prevention settings.
  • Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities using Palo Alto monitoring tools.
  • Respond to security incidents, performing analysis and remediation as necessary.
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Document security policies, procedures, and configurations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security measures align with business objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff and other departments.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends, particularly related to Palo Alto products.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in network security engineering, specifically with Palo Alto Networks technologies.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer, CISSP, CEH) are highly desirable.
  • Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
  • NV2 Security Clearance.

Skills:
Proficiency in configuring and managing Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
Knowledge of network security best practices and risk management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
