Job Title: Cybersecurity Architect

A cybersecurity architect plays a vital role in designing, building, testing, and implementing robust security systems within an organisation's IT network.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate design activities to promote digital security best practices.
- Document sensitive information data flows within the organisation and recommend appropriate controls for secure data storage (e.g., encryption, tokenisation).
- Provide guidance on developing solution components that incorporate security by design principles, considering emerging threats and changing business environments.
- Review security technologies, tools, and services, and make informed recommendations to the broader security team based on security, financial, and operational metrics.
- Contribute to infrastructure environment designs.
- Identify security gaps and implement mitigation strategies, escalating risks to the risk analyst as needed.
- Offer technical and security expertise to improve solutions and advise on enhancing the security posture.
- Design and implement security controls in cloud-based environments.
- Monitor and review security controls in these environments.
- Provide security support for cloud-based infrastructure and participate in change management processes.
