Store Operations Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Stores person to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for stock control levels within the warehouse, ensuring products are proficiently packed for transportation and safely loaded and unloaded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe operation of lifting equipment within manufacturer's instructions and procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety checks to guarantee accessible storage areas for all employees, including visible safety signage and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Participate in annual stock audits.
  • Guarantee that equipment is sufficiently and securely packed and ready for shipment by pick-up time.
  • Organize logistics for collection and drop-off of goods.
  • Pick, unpack, and prepare parts/equipment for assembly as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized store area at all times, optimizing available space.
  • Manage the booking in and out of all stock and be aware of its whereabouts at all times.
  • Assist with moving and lifting machinery for customer demonstrations or trials.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Forklift License is mandatory.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a warehouse or store environment.
  • Experience in packaging and shipping, proven ability to organize and maintain stock.
  • Exposure to manufacturing industry requirements is beneficial.
