Senior Civil Engineer Role

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be involved in planning, engineering design, and construction services across a diverse portfolio of civil infrastructure projects.

With a strong focus on feasibility studies, operations and maintenance, we have contributed to iconic projects like Gateway WA, Forrestfield Airport Link and Western Sydney Airport. Our team is growing, with current civil projects spanning urban development, water infrastructure, energy transformation, regional upgrades and supporting major transport projects.

Responsibilities include leading and coordinating the design and documentation of road, earthworks, drainage, and civil infrastructure projects, contributing to major developments. You will also work across a diverse range of market sectors, including energy, mining, water, transport, property and buildings.

  • Mentor junior team members, enforce client standards, and foster a culture of quality and precision.
  • Engage with clients and multi-discipline teams to deliver high-impact projects, enhance relationships to deliver outstanding client experiences.
  • Develop technical and leadership skills through on-the-job and formal training, with opportunities to contribute across planning, design, and construction phases.
  • Participate in design meetings to influence project outcomes and ensure deliverables meet high-performance standards.

Requirements for this position include a bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or a related field. You should also have 7+ years proven design and management experience in road, earthworks, drainage, and general civil infrastructure projects.

Additionally, you will need comprehensive understanding of key client design standards, exceptional collaboration in a complex multi-disciplinary environment, and relationship building skills both for internal and external client relationships.

Other requirements include strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines while delivering high-quality work. You should also be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Candidates should possess relevant on-site credentials (e.g. white card) and a valid driver's license. Proficiency in using software such as 12D and AutoCAD is desired but not essential.
