Embedded Software Development Professional

This is a full-time embedded software development position based in Adelaide with excellent access to public transport and parking.
Key Responsibilities:- We are seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to develop low-level software for bare-metal platforms.
- The successful candidate will implement, test and validate code in a hands-on engineering environment.
- Work with communication protocols including CAN bus and collaborate with electronics and mechatronics engineers to integrate software with hardware.
- Support quick prototyping, iteration and debugging of embedded systems.
Requirements:
- A degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline is required.
- No less than 3 years' experience in embedded software development is essential.
- Strong proficiency in C for bare-metal programming is necessary.
- Experience with Arduino platforms or similar microcontrollers is desirable.
- Practical, hands-on engineering skills with the ability to test and validate quickly are required.
- Must be an Australian citizen.
Desirable but not essential qualifications include:
- Experience with CAN bus protocol implementation.
- Exposure to defence, safety-critical or high-reliability systems.
- Familiarity with other embedded toolchains and microcontroller platforms.
