Linux Devices Software Engineer

Are you a skilled software engineer with a passion for Linux and embedded systems? Do you have experience with the latest Linux kernel and open source technologies?

We're seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Linux Devices Software Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering Ubuntu for the latest IoT and server-class hardware platforms, integrating and maintaining device-oriented software stacks, and collaborating with other globally distributed teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic track record, drive, and a track record of going above-and-beyond expectations. You will also have experience with Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred), a passion for Linux or embedded systems software, and fluency in at least one of Golang, C, C++, or Rust.

You will work with cutting-edge technologies, contribute to technical documentation, and participate as a technical lead on complex customer engagements involving complete system architectures from cloud to edge.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM, or a compelling narrative about your alternative path
  • Experience with Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred)
  • Passion for Linux or embedded systems software (e.g. kernel, graphics, Yocto)
  • Fluency in at least one of Golang, C, C++, or Rust
  • Professional written and spoken English
