HeliMods is a world-renowned aerospace technology company based on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with cutting-edge infrastructure, enabling us to deliver innovative aerospace products that make a tangible impact on local and global communities.
The OpportunityWe are seeking high school students with a passion for aerospace, aviation, design, engineering, and manufacturing to join our dynamic team for a work experience program. This unique opportunity allows students to gain hands-on experience in designing and printing their own creations using our 3D printers, as well as exploring our advanced manufacturing capabilities.
What We ExpectWe value students who are inquisitive, self-driven, and eager to learn. To succeed in this program, you should possess good listening skills, a healthy curiosity, and a positive attitude. We also expect you to be respectful of our team's time and workload.
RequirementsTo be eligible for this program, you must:
- Be in year 10 or above.
- Have a strong passion for aviation, aerospace, design, engineering, and/or manufacturing.
- Have the permission and paperwork from your school.
- Provide a CV as part of your application.
As a work experience student with HeliMods, you can expect to:
- Work from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
- Wear long pants, enclosed shoes, and an appropriate shirt.
- Bring your own lunch.
