Clinical Lead

This role is responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments in collaboration with mental health clinicians and providing integrated discharge planning for complex patients and carers with a Dual Diagnosis.
The incumbent will lead the delivery of evidence-based clinical practice, provide education and management guidance to healthcare professionals, contribute to research, and offer professional leadership.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Conducting comprehensive Drug & Alcohol assessments in collaboration with mental health clinicians
- Providing integrated discharge planning for complex patients and carers with a Dual Diagnosis
- Working alongside mental health clinicians, peer workers, and community stakeholders to ensure coordinated care and support before discharge
- Leading the delivery of evidence-based clinical practice, providing education and management guidance, contributing to research, and offering professional leadership
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Applicable vaccination requirements for Category A roles
- A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current AHPRA Registration
- At least 5 years full-time post-registration experience, with approved post-registration nursing qualifications relevant to Drug & Alcohol
- A valid NSW Driver's Licence
