We are Seeking a Talented Physicist or AnimatorAbout the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a physicist or animator. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in either physics or animation and be able to design, develop, and optimize pipeline and engine systems.
- Design, develop, modify, optimize and debug physics or animation pipeline and engine systems
- Communicate features and collaborate with engineering, design, art and production teams
- Participate in the design, performance and code review process
- Contribute to the design and roadmap of industry-leading AAA engine
The successful candidate will be part of a fast-paced environment where priorities can change frequently. Therefore, this role includes but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about physics or animation and has the skills to bring high-quality experiences to our players worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop workflows for animation behavior debugging and improvement
- Collaborate with animators and engineers to improve character fidelity
- Drive collision data pipeline for high-fidelity environments
- Support simulation behaviors for FPS physics gameplay and visuals
Bonus Experience:
- Experience with physics middleware APIs (Havok, PhysX)
- Background in parallel programming and multi-threaded code
- Experience with rigid-body dynamics, collision detection, contact resolution
- Experience with ragdoll tech and IK systems
