Design Expert for Health Solutions

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to support our Health Prototyping Centre Team as a Design Specialist. This role will facilitate the development and testing of novel solutions to complex challenges facing health services, clinicians, and patients and carers through collaborative design sprints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to design and test innovative solutions to complex health challenges.
  • Facilitate workshops and ideation sessions with stakeholders from across the health sector to define problems and generate ideas.
  • Develop prototypes using a range of tools and materials to enable user experience testing and iteration.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to solve health-related challenges and rapidly test hypotheses to inform solution development.
  • Prepare artefacts and insights reports to communicate outcomes to various stakeholders and audiences.

Requirements

  • Experience in Human-Centred Design, Human Factors, Product Design, Rapid Prototyping, or a related field, along with relevant qualifications and familiarity with design sprint methodologies.
  • Expertise in simulation-based evaluation methods, including prototype development and insights reporting.
  • Demonstrable facilitation, engagement, collaboration, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with project stakeholders.
