Role Overview

Casual Educators make a significant contribution to the educational and care experience of children in our early learning centres.

As a Casual Educator, you will actively participate in the development and implementation of the education program, engage and supervise children at all times, maintain a safe environment, and build strong relationships with children and families.

Main Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the education program by designing and delivering engaging activities that promote child learning and development.
  • Supervise and engage children during activities and transitions to ensure their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, families, and staff members by adhering to safety protocols and reporting any incidents or hazards.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and the centre team through effective communication and empathy.
  • Comply with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of quality care and education.
  • Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement by participating in regular meetings and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking highly motivated and qualified individuals who hold an ACECQA-approved early childhood qualification and have flexible availability between Monday and Friday. If you are willing to travel between other local services, please apply now.
