Job Opportunity

This role as an Occupational Therapist Assistant provides the chance to work with young people aged 13 to 18 who have various mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will contribute to assessing, monitoring, and modifying structured activities to measure progression and ensure effectiveness.

About the Job

You will support in delivering structured activities and assist in planning individual and group therapeutic interventions. You will build one-to-one rapport with service users to encourage participation and empower recovery.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be supported regionally and have access to training and online courses to support your career development.

  • To assist Occupational Therapists, Nurses, and other MDT staff in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individual care plans.
  • To maintain accurate records, entering details in service user healthcare records.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • GCSE/O-Levels (A-C) or relevant NVQ2, along with experience in a similar environment and mental health setting.
