Leading a Team with Excellence

We are seeking an exceptional Duty Manager to lead our team by example and ensure everything feels welcoming and safe for our residents and staff.

  • Review staffing allocations, respond to sick calls and fill gaps to guarantee care continuity.
  • Check in with each department; clinical, cleaning, catering, laundry, maintenance and engagement teams to ensure the day runs smoothly.
  • Host or chair the Heads of Department meeting to keep everyone aligned.
  • Oversee new admissions and discharges, which includes verifying rooms are ready, as well as supporting families with transitions.
  • Jump in where needed and lead by example.
  • Handle feedback and resolve issues promptly, always logging and closing the loop.

This role demands excellent communication skills, strong organisational and leadership skills, attention to detail, time management and prioritisation skills, as well as a strong customer service focus.
