Job Title: Cost Management Specialist

 

**Job Description:**

As a Cost Management Specialist, you will provide critical support to the production operations division by managing cost control activities for assigned projects. Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing and coordinating reporting and variance analysis against approved WBS, annual budgets, and forecasts.

- Preparing and presenting monthly dashboards to business owners with actuals and forecasting information.

- Maintaining Prism monthly capex spends, forecasting, and budgeting records.

- Reviewing and advising on EPC contractor performance reports, schedules, estimates, and statistics.

- Coordinating SAP interface activities for WO settlement rules monitoring.

 

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or equivalent. Additionally, you should possess minimum 5-10 years of experience in cost control, strong technical competency in cost engineering, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as demonstrated understanding of project services and contracting/procurement disciplines.

 

**Benefits:**

This assignment is initially offered for 12 months. You will work full-time office hours in Brisbane, with opportunities to partner with team leads and develop your skills further.
