
Compensation Specialist

The role of Payroll Officer involves processing fortnightly payrolls for a large number of employees. This includes interpreting complex award rules, managing leave and contract changes, and preparing Workers Compensation calculations.
Key Responsibilities- Process payroll transactions accurately and on time
- Interpret award rules and manage employee leave and contracts
- Prepare and submit Workers Compensation claims
- Process Higher Duties requests and manage secondments
- Manage the payroll inbox and respond to queries from employees and managers
- Demonstrated experience using digital payroll systems
- Sound knowledge of payroll concepts and legislation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
